The University of Gloucestershire’s Women’s Basketball Team (UGWB) or the Tigers as we like to call ourselves, is looking for new members.

We are one of the student unions most active clubs and we’ve got the credentials to prove it! Not only did we receive club of the year 2005/2006 but in last years season The Tigers won the South West Of Englands Women’s Basketball trophy.

And the 2008/2009 season is going to be bigger and better than ever, with no signs of slowing down being a part of the team next year will definitely be something to shout about!

We train twice a week at Oxstalls Campus as well as playing in regular matches, and for the more socially serious of the bunch we meet once a week in Cheltenham to soak up the Wednesday night festivities and generally have a good time.

So whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player come find us at the Freshers Fayre for more information, it will be the best thing you do all year!!
