Women’s Hockey: Freshers’ Issue

By Guest Contributors • Sep 14th, 2008 • Category: Sport

Hello and welcome to the University of Gloucestershire. To make your University life extra fun and enjoyable you should definitely consider joining the University’s Women’s Hockey Club.

The club has four BUSA teams which caters for all abilities, where training and matches take place every week throughout the academic year. Club socials happen every Wednesday which allows team/club cohesion and is definitely the best night of the week for partying with your team mates.

Being part of the Women’s Hockey Club gives you the opportunity to meet new people from different campuses and courses within the University who share a passion for hockey. We welcome all abilities and it does matter if you are a hockey expert or hockey novice. As winner of “Best Club in College” last year speaks for itself and you should come along to the Women’s Hockey stand to have a chat to myself and my committee to find out more about this fantastic club.

Hope to see you in the near future
